Private Client team members, Nicola, Hilary and Susan have all successfully completed “Preventing Dementia” training.
The “Preventing Dementia” training is an international project undertaken by University of Tasmania, in conjunction with University of Cambridge. It is part of an ongoing international project to promote understanding of Dementia, its causes and strategies for prevention. The global research project will assist governments in planning future strategies for prevention of dementia.
The team have successfully completed the first stage of training and hope to continue with further study and training, which will be available later this year.
Hilary observes “In undertaking the training, we all found this a fascinating area of study, which was highly relevant to our work. It was extremely informative to be part of this international project, which provided us with greater insight into the needs of our increasingly elderly population.”
