Stokes Partners and Haselbury Mill support Indian Orphanage

This year was Chris Pang’s third year volunteering with the Indian Christian Mission Centre (ICMC), an orphanage near Salem in southern India.  His team raised enough money to purchase 500 pillows for all the children which previously none of them had.

Shining Faces in India is a UK registered charity giving aid to the ICMC.  The founder of the orphanage, Jayaraj Krishnan and his wife Christy have devoted more than 25 years of care to orphaned and destitute children who are brought to the mission. Today the orphanage cares for over 800 needy and very poor children irrespective of caste, creed, community and religion.

Chris says: “Visiting such an amazing place as ICMC and seeing the genuine happiness the kids have despite having so little, really makes you appreciate everything we have in life that we take for granted every day. I would like to thank Stokes Partners and Haselbury Mill for all their support. Please have a look at their website and spread the word. Any donations will be of great benefit to the children.”
