TRAINEE SOLICITORS

What we offer a trainee
We at Stokes Partners are committed to providing excellent opportunities for talented people to train and qualify as solicitors with us.

We offer a challenging and interesting programme in commercial services and services for the individual, both contentious and non-contentious.

As a trainee, you will be encouraged to take on increasing levels of responsibility enabling you to deepen your knowledge and gain as much experience as possible to become an integral part of the firm. We have an open door policy providing you with the opportunity to be pushed to achieve your full potential, while learning in a supportive environment.

As part of your training you will be expected to attend networking events and take part in various projects such as fundraising events or other business development activities.

We offer the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging cases with convenient transport to London, Bristol, Birmingham and other major cities

What we look for in a trainee
We have a reputation for high quality work and service that sets us apart from our peers. We seek ambitious and dynamic individuals who can demonstrate commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, a common sense approach, commitment and loyalty.

If you are looking for a successful and long term career in the law with us, we are currently offering training contracts to suitable candidates. Training contracts will only commence for successful candidates after a 6 months probationary/assessment period during which you will be employed as a paralegal.

You will be provided with varied and stimulating work and gain real hands-on experience whilst being provided with support and guidance as you develop.

We like to invest our time and effort in developing home grown talent. We are therefore particularly interested to hear from applicants who are involved in our local area and community.
