Stokes Partners back Woollacott to be a winner.

At Stokes Partners we’re always looking to support local enterprises and if we can have some fun whilst doing so that’s a bonus!

When we launched our new website we highlighted our “Icelandic” theme which we felt mirrored our position as being small, perfectly formed and sometimes a little bit quirky.  Not your run of the mill law firm.  We felt that this approach was epitomised by the native ponies of Iceland.  They’re small, hardy and have a unique feature.  All horses have four gaits; walk, trot, canter and gallop.  Icelandic ponies have all those plus an extra – the “tolt”.  And at Stokes Partners we’re proud to follow their example – we can do everything that other law firms can but have that unique extra something that we believe makes us very special indeed.

Kit O’Brien, our Business Development Partner was delighted to be invited to meet the team at Kayley Woollacott Racing following their recent relocation to Blackmore Farm, Crewkerne.  Following the tragic death of her late husband Richard Woollacott, Kayley has moved from a longstanding career training point to point horses to training National Hunt horses as well.

Following that visit Stokes Partners is excited to be sponsoring Kayley Woollacott Racing Club III and their stunning filly, Tipalong Tyler.  Tyler as she’s affectionately known is a 5 year old who has been honing her skills as a winning point to pointer and is now beginning her professional career racing under rules.

Grade One winning Trainer, Kayley Woollacott said; “We’re delighted to welcome Stokes Partners on board in supporting Tipalong Tyler, we’re keen to work with passionate people who like us strive to run a very effective small business that can compete with the biggest names. We’re new to the area and are excited to immerse ourselves within the local community, our doors are always open.”

Kayley describes herself as “passionate, patient and persistent”; we’re proud to say the same about the team at Stokes Partners.  We’re proud of our expertise in the areas of law we work in.  We, like Kayley and her team, are specialists, striving for the absolute best in all that we do.   We hope that with Kayley’s training and our support Tipalong Tyler will do us all proud throughout the National Hunt Season (Oct 2019 – May 2020).

We’ll be following her career with interest and hoping to arrange some outings to watch her run and visit her in training.  If any of our clients or contacts fancy a day’s racing to cheer “our” horse on or to visit Kayley Woollacott Racing at any time for some fresh air, coffee, cake and a bit of peace on the gallops then please give Kit a call and we’ll see what can be arranged.
